DIRECTIONS: One of the songs in Post-Edsa era is the song Ang Bayan Ko. Describe the emotions of Filipinos and situations of the country by interpreting each paragraph that can be found below. 

"Ang bayan kong Pilipinas Lupain ng ginto't bulaklak Pag-ibig na sa kanyang palad Nag-alay ng ganda't dilag" 

In this line it’s pertaining how beautiful was the Philippines and how rich it is in golds because we are island that has a beautiful place’s this is the other country wants to us so they keep holding to us keeping us a slave, and they are keep getting the beautiful pilipina to became their wife.

"At sa kanyang yumi at ganda Dayuhan ay nahalina Bayan ko, binihag ka Nasadlak sa dusa" 

  Because of the beautiful that they see in the Philippines they want to keep    this to them and be the one to control this place, they don’t leave they slave all the Filipinos because of that Filipinos suffered in a deep pain in their own country they became the one who is visitors. Instead they are the one who is controlling in this place.

"CHORUS Ibon mang may layang lumipad Kulungin mo at umiiyak Bayan pa kayang sakdal-dilag Ang 'di magnasang makaalpas " 

  They are saying that even birds that flying if you place them in the cage they will cry and want to be free. And how about Filipinos we are all suffering because of what they treated us and we don’t have our freedom we are hoping some changes, freedom and controlling our own life.

"Pilipinas kong minumutya Pugad ng luha at dalita Aking adhika Makita kang sakdal laya" 

This line saying that our country is a nest of sorrow and pain because of the Filipinos that are being slave in their own country and all of Filipinos want to see that their country will get what are they own.
